Patent Pending - This is a security system that uses an array of technologies to ensure proper functioning. However, the challenge of this device's design was facilitating maintenance, while making it sturdy and safe enough that it will minimize vandalism damage.
Inspired on the function of windshield wipers, this mechanism allows for a constant movement of doors being swung with an electric motor that will only turn in one direction.
Given the rise of alternative transportation in cities and the safety concerns regarding those, an alternative was conceptualized. Increasing the stability of a regular bicycle and with the power of an electric motor. The trike was designed to be usable enough that it could be brought home or charged at a charging spot or by removing the batteries.
Based on the actual design of a three-wheeler, the proportion and geometry of the Electric Trike were inspired by this frame.
It functioned as the perfect training exercise to hone in skills with SolidWorks. The model is ready for pedaling and steering inputs and testing.
As a stylistic exercise, I developed a watch that was based on the model design language by Lamborghini. Based on the 6th element, all their cars are currently covered in hexagons. And given the flexibility that shape allows, I was able to develop a product that fits within the brand and had the style owed to the company.
Formula UEM 05
Based on using the same molds used to build the Formula UEM 04 (next piece) the challenge was to adapt the architecture while improving aerodynamics, weight, and style.
A version without wings was also built to study which one of the two versions was most competitive

This was the first car developed with a design team that was not composed of just engineers, and it was also the first bodywork built entirely of carbon fiber.
During my Industrial Design internship, I also helped develop a new type of dental scanner that would compete with 3M's "Lava" system.
After the design phase, the prototype proved to be quite effective, mapping both upper and lower jaws in about half an hour with a 95+% accuracy. Which was leaps and bounds better than the competition
During my Industrial Design internship, I was tasked with developing the design and 3D modeling of a device that would convert a non-smart TV into a smart TV with the added capacity of a regular computer being hooked into the TV.
